Custom Artwork and Commissions
Acrylic Art Commissions
Acrylic paintings on canvas are done in my studio from a picture or pictures. We will talk about what you would like via phone, text, or video chat, including the subjects, background, and color preferences, and I will take it from there. The more information you give me, and the more pictures you have, the better!
Acrylic paintings can be people, pets, landscapes, houses, or even flower bouquets. Some great options for acrylic paintings are:
- Bride and groom wedding paintings as an anniversary gift or gift for parents
- Pet memorial paintings
- Scenery or landscapes of a special place, like a home, a place visited in childhood, or a city you grew up in
My artistic style is impressionist with a light, bright color palette of pastels and calming tones. I don’t paint photorealism, but instead take a looser approach to painting.
Watercolor Art Commissions
Watercolor paintings are done on watercolor paper as opposed to canvas. Also done from photos, watercolor is a much looser medium best suited for floral paintings, minimalist portraits, minimalist pets, and homes. When you commission a watercolor painting, we will meet via phone, text, or video chat to discuss what you’re looking for. I’ll ask you about your subjects, your vision, and of course, for some pictures. The more information you give me, the better the painting will turn out!
Some great options for watercolor paintings are:
- Flowers! Florals are some of my favorite things to paint in watercolor. Wedding bouquets, birth flowers, or other meaningful flowers.
- Family portraits with minimalist faces
- Pets who have passed
I share the process of paintings on Instagram, be sure to follow me there: @nerkyart.
Pricing for Art Commissions
Paintings generally take between 2-4 weeks and are priced based on size and complexity. Pricing starts at $120 for 8×10″ and increases from there.
I recommend 8×10″ or 11×14″ for watercolor paintints and 16×20″ or larger for acrylic paintings.
I love this painting so much. I can’t believe how perfectly you captured Wrigley. <3
